Birthing is a beautiful process. There’s a lot that a woman experiences during these weeks. The challenge was to make her interaction particularly at the hospital eventful & memorable. And, a wayfinding signage at a healthcare unit is also of prime importance, it needs to be functional, effective and yet, soothing to the eye. The inspiration for the creation was the pastel baby colours and the gentle fabric design & patterns that surrounds the mother during the period.
The overall signage system had a combination of 2 units, One highlighting the functional aspect i.e. the direction sign and second, the emotional/aesthetic aspect.
The door sign to each suit had magnetic add-on boards highlighting if it’s the birth of a darling angel or a little master. Multiple such boards were made to capture every happy moment – twin boys or girls or even a twin girl & a boy. The resultant smile on the guests visiting the proud parents, was our team’s reward moment.
